Frank Gehry tries to find a principle of organic unity and continuity between the architectural object and its environment. The walls and roofs are transformed into large sails, an envelope produced by a single material that merges the decomposition of volumes in a perfect wave inscribed in the landscape.
Apart from the natural lighting and ventilation wells systems, Gehry declines a set of advanced technologies related to energy conservation such as triple glazing, solar panels and solar water heater.
Deconstructivist of the earliest time, fascinated by the architecture of the temples in Japan, at 85 years, Frank Gehry remains one of the most avant-garde architects of his time and continues to build his dreams with passion and conviction.
