Polanski has always had a predilection for music and opera.
He also staged «Rigoletto» at the Munich Opera and «The Tales of Hoffmann» at the Opera Bastille. It was in Vienna in 1997 that his «Fearless Vampire Killers» has burned for the first time the boards with libretto by Michael Kunze.
Years later, «The Fearless Vampire Killers» has not lost its charisma and its biting humor.
To put in music this adventure in the snow and blood while remaining a good child, Polanski has appealed to the talent of Jim Steinman, famous composer of «Bat Out of Hell», of Dennis Callahan for the choreography and of the famous theater and opera designer, William Dudley.
