1965 remains a memorable date in the history of design, with the creation of the revolutionary «LC Collection» of designer furniture produced
on an industrial scale by the Italian brand Cassina in collaboration with architects Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand. Their works are characterized by two major innovations, the tubular structure in chrome steel that uses a sophisticated folding process instead of a simple weld at 90°
and the polyurethane foam padding and feathers for the comfort of sitting.
2015commemorates this incomparable artistic union and the fiftieth anniversary of the death of Le Corbusier.
Cassina celebrates this anniversary by declining a color palette revisited, new glazed structures, more environmentally friendly finishes with trivalent chromium structure and new organic leather.
Once again, the «LC collection» manages to be a pioneer in the world of design keeping its inimitable signature.
