Family house Louis Vuitton and workshop

Today, some special and custom orders are still made in the workshop of Asnieres at the rue de la Comète.
Mr. Louis Vuitton decided to build a family home next to his factory, reinvented in 1900 by his son Gaston in the Art Nouveau style on the advice of his friend Louis Majorelle. With its ornate stained glass, this house testifies to the Nancy School and the Eiffel architecture. It now houses the Gallery, the new private Museum of Louis Vuitton.
Judith Clark, curator of the exhibition, selected the most emblematic parts of the house in the heart of the monumental archives that count an incredible collection of travel with 23,000 objects and 165,000 documents.
