On the sixth loor of the Philharmonie de Paris, overlooking the canopy of the Parc de la Villette, the restaurant «Le Balcon» comes on the scene with the decor created by the architect Frédéric Druot.
Large windows, smooth concrete loor like a mirror and armchairs in richly colored fabrics can accommodate with elegance and conviviality two hun- dred people. This contemporary bistro without false modesty reveals its open kitchen to follow the ballet of its dishes under the leadership of its chief, Karil Lopez.
Open only for dinner, starting at 6:30 p.m., this new design address follows the tempo of music lovers who want a snack before the concert or want to extend a symphony on a gastronomic air. Here, time is mastered as soon as the choice of the dishes is done to offer to the guests’ different rhythms for their feast, allegro or pianissimo. The partition of the menu declines four-star products per season to make the taste buds of the music lovers’ dance.
A new wind is blowing on the gastronomy theater, without any false notes but not without talent!
