Lola Álvarez Bravo , independent woman with a strong personality, has devoted her career to the documentary work in conjunction with the Mexican government agencies.
Talented portraitist, she organized the only solo exhibition ever devoted to Frida Kahlo during her lifetime. She also photographed the igures of art and Mexican culture for funds of the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes.
The exhibition, already shown in Madrid, brings together many original prints and vintage tests from 1992 of the collection of photographs of the Televisa Foundation.
