Works by Lola Álvarez Bravo depict great poetry.
They reveal with modesty and tenderness the scenes of daily life in Mexico City and the countryside. Her work echoes the painting of her close friends like Diego Rivera and his wife Frida Kahlo by respect for the dignity of the characters captured in her objective.
Even in scenes of violence or misery, her eye always has shown great empathy by some distance.
