The image of Che was his stroke of genius that has remained in the annals of boldness. Laurent Fuchs has affixed this symbol of capitalist exploitation on his products for billionaires, a delightfully cynical provocation, terribly lucrative and wonderfully performed by journey- men craftsmen of his studio, all trained at the Boule school.
To achieve its sulphureous collections such as the skulls made of Swarovski, vanities adorning the cigar boxes, its boxes in fruity pop colors or the most refined timeless pieces in the art of marquetry, Elie Bleu has preserved a real know-how and a perfect quality of workmanship. The tabletterie is an art that is so subtle at the intersection of the turner, of the cabinetmaker and the marquetry artist.
Elie Bleu is now a recognized master in this field and not only works increasingly precious wood collections according to the seasons or as timeless objects, but in very limited editions or even more unique pieces as its customers are exceptional and they do want to buy or be offered only the undiscoverable.
Mythology has its Pandora’s box that allowed the escape of all the evils of this world, kee- ping only hope; those of Elie Bleu are mythical and born from elegance containing the finest treasures and letting only imagination fly.
