Laurent Saksik believes in perception that can grasp reality. This approach to painting in its radiation opens a space for contemplation with a very aquatic dimension. Installations and paintings are using light and its reflections in the eye of the beholder to provoke a new experience.
Like Monet, he has understood that color is not a property of paint but a degree of appea- rance, a level of information. He feels very similar to a DJ who mixes the pigments to create a coexistence between the sensible and the intelligible through this cloud, a symbol of his research in this notion of infinity undefined.
