Long before the trend, he became interested in ecology, as anyone at that time did not dare condemn the horrors carried out in the polluted urban jungle. Forerunner,
Folon was able to defend with strength and gentleness the environment, trees and silence. With its easily recognizable trait, he has launched his symbols, arrows, birds, figures, and suitcases, like powerful screams to the assault of the concepts he thought, rightly, wrongly. His famous sphinx still questions us and his «outstretched hand» as his «eye» are still surprisingly alive.
