Once upon a time ... a little girl in Malaysia who could not stop drawing. By the age of five, Erin Lee still remembers an exercise to learn how to form numbers. She had to make 30 bullets, but refusing to eat despite the hunger that brought tears in her eyes and despite the entreaties of her grandmother, she preferred to draw 30 small cats with moving tails.
She realized at once that drawing was her life.
A symbol of her creativity, a little rabbit came to live her dreams every night. She played hide- and-seek in the land of dreams with that tiny, human-looking animal that was amusing herself in hiding objects she was looking for when she awoke.
As soon as she found the path of her passion, the little rabbit was the first person she began to pencil. Her imaginary friend resembles her, possessing all the qualities she wanted to see in her heart, encouraging her to be positive for herself and for others. She believes that if we want to be happy and transform the world into a better place for all, we must develop our values and our qualities. Her characters illustrate this part of childhood and innocence in each of us in order to touch our souls so that they rediscover the simple path of sincerity and unconditional love.
Her colorful world is made of harmony, sharing in tenderness and respect, which does not pre- vent her little characters from enjoying good food and being fashion fans. To live peace, the reconnection with Mother Nature flows from source. That is why Erin Lee made the Malaysian rainforest home to her little friends. She called this world dreamed «Nemophilist», named after him who passionately loves the forests.
