On the occasion of the centenary of the discovery of the tomb, the exhi- bition «Tutankhamen, the Treasury of the Pharaoh», opened in Paris on March 23, 2019, more than fifty years after «the exhibition of the century» of 1967 which had attracted more than 1.2 million visitors.
This is a unique opportunity to rediscover the history of the most famous pharaohs before this collection settles permanently in the new Egyptian Grand Museum in Cairo near the Khufu Pyramid in Giza. Indeed, at the end of this world tour, the 150 objects presented will join in 2020 their last home with all the treasures of Tutankhamun.
