Since 1845, Lachaume has been adorning the Tout-Paris with its floral compositions as unique as they are magnificent.
Already in his time, Marcel Proust could not do without his cattleya in his buttonhole and made an expression of mad love between his heroes Swann and Odette in «The search for lost time».
The two granddaughters of Giuseppina Callegari, Stéphanie Primet and Caroline Cnoquaert, cherish the values of excellence of their grandmother by the quality of their flowers and by the very special attention given to their customers. A family story, of course, but even more a story of the heart that vibrates in unison with lovers parading in their famous and essential address at 103 rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré.
Nowadays, Lachaume is synonymous with the exceptional and perfection not only in France but also in the world. «Magician of the ephemeral since 1845» as it is written on their pediment, Karl Lagerfeld, loyal customer of the house, added his own maxim, «There is only the ephemeral that lasts» and Inès de la Fressange de supplement with «Receiving flowers is receiving a compliment.»
The flowers speak, they have their language, and their messages and it is to respect this dialogue so private that the Lachaume sisters make it a point of honor never to reveal all their confidentiality.
The secret is a golden rule in this universe where the biggest celebrities and the most important fortunes parade, but also the enthusiasts, the lovers in search of the perfect expression of their feelings; like this young man who wanted to make his marriage proposal and who took his bouquet of roses to Rome for his lover, only giving her the travel ticket before offering his flowers and his heart.
