Until April 18, 2021, the Vitra Design Museum presents an exhibition on the iconic creations of one of the most influen- tial architects of the post-war period, Gae Aulenti.Her legendary pieces, such as her «Pipistrello» lamps in 1965 and «King Sun» in 1967, made the Italian designer famous internationally and gave a leading role to Italian design.While she is now better known in her birthplace, the Vitra Design Museum is giving her back its world- wide visibility with an exhibition of 35 elements of her flourishing career, together with photographs, sketches and films to retrace her 700 projects including the superb transformation of the Parisian station into the Musée d’Orsay in the 1980s.
