Avery prolific artist, David Hockney was first passionate about graffiti and encrypted messages. He approached the theme of his homosexuality, love and sex with freshness and modernity. Water holds an important place in his work, shower, swimming pool depict moments of sweet intimacy with great delicacy.
The private sphere of his relatives, friends and family holds an important place in his creation.His landscapes come from his stays in a small village on the North Sea from the 2000s.
