The MEP, European House of Photography, presents the first retrospective exhibition in France of the Dutch artist Viviane Sassen. “PHOSPHOR: Art & Fashion 1990-2023” brings together more than 200 creations and retraces 30 years of production of a fascinating pro- tean work of pure beauty.
Internationally recognized, Viviane Sassen brings photography, painting, collage and installation into dialogue with her fashion work.
Since completing her studies in 1992 at the Utrecht School of the Arts (HKU), Viviane Sassen has devoted herself entirely to photography, both as an artist and fashion photographer. In this double trajectory, she has constructed a powerful, singular and eclectic visual work.
