The history of this hotel is as rich as the opulence of the nature that surrounds it. This magnificent residence is a mythical palace in the style of «Art Nouveau». This private house, owned by the Swiss Bucher family
since 1918, had been converted into a hotel in 1872.
Since then, five generations have succeeded in taking great care to preserve the independence of their luxury hotel by refusing
to integrate international brands.
Mrs. and Mr. Bucher, the current owners reside in one wing of the hotel and receive their guests with warmth and elegance,
whom they regard as personal guests.
In this charming, rather «Old Europe», the baroque and theatrical style tells one and a half centuries of history in a populous princely decor of frescoes, paintings, Persian carpets and antique furniture.
