CHAILLY
Pride of Burgundy
From the high towers of the castle listed as a historical monument, several centuries look down upon you with the tenderness of the years, which have given its patina to the blonde stone. Its owner since 1987 is a Japanese businessman, M.Yasuhiko Sata, who fell in love with this place so steeped in history and which he has made a haven of peace by giving it back all its nobility.
Areal fortress in the fifteenth century, the castle was transformed into a Renaissance residence and escaped the demolition during the Revolution as it had been bought by a farmer.
Today, under the blessing of the great Chapel built by its new owner, passionate for authenticity and attached to true values, Chailly is a bright headlight
in beautiful green surroundings.
In its left wing in the high places, the wooden bust of the Madonna, which miraculously survived the bombing of Hiroshima radiates with serenity facing a sacred stone from Japan in a shimmering space with golden mosaics and bright colors reminiscent of the style of Gaudi. This mystical, ecumenical
and artistic place is the secret and sacred sanctuary that makes the heartbeat of the domain.
