The first seaport in Europe, cosmopolitan city facing the sea and the future, Rotterdam is alive, exciting, innovative and full of contrasts.
Bombed during the Second World War, it became a spot of architects and urban challenges. The Giants in concrete and in steel designed by Renzo Piano, Norman Foster, and Alvaro Siza... rub shoulders with the old buildings.
On the peninsula of Kop van Zuid, glittering skyscrapers impose themselves to gradually replace the abandoned warehouses. Thus, the three towers of the star architect Rem Koolhaas culminate at 150 meters high
and show off to the sight of all.
