ORRESPONDENCES
For Baudelaire, the artist is invited to decipher the signs so the perceptions may communicate with each other through to infinity. The magic of Art allows him to cross all the mirrors of time and space, death and life as an immortal Orpheus in a dream of Cocteau.
Robert Mapplethorpe said, «I see things like sculptures, as forms that occupy space.» He has drunk the chalice of «Fleurs du Mal» and Auguste Rodin had devoted his life in a monumental statue, an interpretation of the work of Charles Baudelaire on which he worked until the end of his days without seeing the final birth in bronze.
