The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao is the emblem of this dreamlike capacity of its architecture to reactivate the economic network of a country.
This retrospective after the first presentation of the work of Frank Gehry at the Centre Pompidou in 1992, offers a comprehensive reading of his work. It describes the evolution of his artistic language and its unique architectural style of the 1960’s to today, through sixty major projects: the Vitra Design Museum in Germany (1989), Guggenheim Bilbao (1997), the Concert hall Walt Disney (2003), Beekman Tower in New York (2011)...
Today Frank Gehry has many projects in France. After building the American Center in the 1990’s, he laid the foundation stone in 2014 of the Luma Foundation in Arles and inaugurated his latest masterpiece, the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris.
