The Poblet Monastery (1150), declared as a World Heritage by UNESCO, is the largest Cistercian house inhabited in Europe.
Beautiful by its flamboyant Gothic novel, it is surrounded by three walls and is closed by a doubled wall of a fortress. This pantheon of the monarchs of the Crown of Aragon contains 11 royal tombs and graves of many personalities of the time.
The monastery has a Hostatgeria, inn for visitors built on the site where the hospital stood in the XIII century for the poor and pilgrims.
