During his travels in solo, he is using his senses to model shapes with light and shadows. He prefers cities with a past and a memory than the contemporary architecture, too new and too cold for him. That’s why he has started his galleries of beautiful old ladies with Venice and Paris. He loves to embrace them in the night or in the very early morning. He performed with the contrasts to undress, reveal, and unmask their eternity while keeping their part of mystery. He likes to wrap them in heavy and dark skies to redraw the vision of those famous places. He gave them back their original virginity but keep their past alive. Even as photographer of the 21 century, he is looking for an old technical effect with the digital technology. He considers himself as a revealer, working from the dark to the light. Jeremy Rasse would like to introduce a new vision to make people discover in a very new way what they think they already know. Next step in his quest will be in April 2012, the roots of the traditional Japan in Kyoto. The following project could be a travel in the history of Greece.
For Jeremy eyes an entire world of silent cities is waiting for their portraits…
