8. Woodstock They say Woodstock is like a township. The notoriously difficult but now trendy area has lots of Antique shops, Art Galleries, Contemporary galleries for young African Artists. Nice weekly fresh markets and Superette a restaurant where you can eat market-fresh fish. Everybody’s increasingly moving to this gentrified neighborhood.

9. Amadoda Braai In Woodstock you’ll arrive at Amadoda at the end of a road. Braai is the Afrikaans word for barbecue. It’s a social. This place you’ll go to get food but also to celebrate. It starts on Thursdays, gets crazy on Fridays and Saturdays from early to very late. It’s where the who’s who “meat”!!! That’s no joke! Filled with style, fashion, beauty, bling, money makers of the city, you’ll get to see the smart cars and high heels, the sexy people and the smooth “operataas”!!! A must see.
