The Sheraton Hotel, The Grand, goes along with this tradition. While we enter the slate gray building, we find ourselves into a warm and welcoming place. It was recently transformed with the idea of making the guests feel «at home».
The decoration was entrusted to Greek architect Maria Katsarou Vafiadis (MKV Design London), who told us about her choice of colors, her palette of beiges, grays, reds and greens that revive the Scottish spirit and remind us of the tartan. The materials that were used, namely wood, marble and glass, give a very contemporaneous look to the bedrooms and special warmth typical of the region to the lobby, as for reminding the warm welcome of its inhabitants.
The hotel has a fine-dining restaurant and a vast spa -One Spa- where the guests can enjoy all kinds of care, treatments, and massages for a perfect stay in a context of relaxation and rest, which contributes to the hotel’s reputation as «the place to be in Edinburgh! »
