The voyage begins in the continuum, there on infinite worlds open the blue notebooks that were carried all the way back from Tokyo. The shapes dance together, just like Michaël Denard in the Firebird. Set designer and costume designer, Louis Bercut, also his mentor is right behind him to monitor Bruno Moinard. He watches the steps of his pupil who has left his provincial town to discover the very cradle of the so Parisian culture and practice to his sides from daybreak at Place des Vosges. Bruno Moinard chases after perfect perspectives so as to recreate the grace of an archway’s bow in its flight.
He never gave up.
When his guardian angels took him away from Paris, they drove him towards the universe of «Frères Trois Gros» in Roanne. And on his way back, they brought him to Andrée Putman who just started out. It took him one night spent observing the black asphalt layout on the ground as well as the plain white wall under the glass roof of Rue Pavée to realize at dawn that this was all a real waste and there was he, embarked on the very first stage of his life. He then penetrates the intimacy of his Elders and starts drawing their beloved residences and dream homes. Saint Laurent, Bergé, Sagan, Warhol, Alaïa, Goude, Castelbajac, Lagerfeld... The list is astounding and goes across the international history from the late XXth century to the early XXIst century.
Bruno Moinard lives the daily of the extraordinary. Of that he is aware. According to him, «We must listen to the ones coming to you for giving them back the gift of their visit. » With him, the gift wrap is so nice that it deserves to be framed! This opportunity was a blessing and helped him all along.
When time had come to part with Putman, he won the Concorde contest, so was he raring to go and spread his wings.
